Getting A Tattoo
ON THE DAY OF
Arrive rested, hydrated and sunburn free. Eat a meal or hearty snack before your tattoo and avoid aspirin and excesses of alcohol and caffeine. For larger tattoos and/or all day sittings, it’s a good idea to bring some food to fuel yourself throughout the day. Always feel free to ask for a water or food break.
Make sure you bring a valid, government issued photo ID (driver’s license/permit or state ID, passport, military ID) showing that you are 18 or older. There will be a waiver/consent form for you to fill out when you arrive for your appointment.
Cash is preferred but not required, and tips are greatly appreciated.
Does my tattoo have to hurt?
Not as much as you might think! Please check in and have a chat with me about numbing creams so we can make sure it's applied correctly! I have Painless Tattoo Co Numbing Cream available for sale at $25/tube. The tube is small, but it covered my forearm fine. Check out the website for the directions! If you have a numbing cream you'd like to use, just check in with me first! Please buy and apply your numbing cream BEFORE your appointment! This stuff definitely lengthens my sit time by a few hours :)
If your numbing stuff wears off during the tattoo, I also have Vasocaine spray for during the tattoo!
